The Influence 100 List (2025) the official list of the UK’s largest and most influential membership bodies. The list has been published exclusively by the MemberWise Network since 2019 and is one of our most popular resources.

Here’s a little taster of this year’s changes:

The List sees professional bodies, understandably, continue to grow their membership primarily due to the statutory/regulatory role many play. Consumer bodies have seen a decrease. This is not surprising given the economic climate and the effect on disposable income and discrepancy spending. Political parties have taken a hit with the exception of Reform UK which commentators put down to factors such as disillusionment with the main parties and concern over immigration.

The Influence 100 list (2025) will help membership bodies (with circa. 50,000 members and above) to benchmark activity with organisations of a similar size and/or similar types of membership offering.

The updated list will also interest smaller membership bodies as they can explore activity conducted by these organisations and can consider/emulate similar activity within their own professions/industries and/or special interest area.

This year the list is published with a political twist and the impact on membership linked to the increased cost of living is considered/evaluated.
