Climate Action for Associations (CAFA) is the only resource and network dedicated to net zero and sustainability for the membership sector.
We provide the information, guidance, policies, events, solutions and convene peer-to-peer network that professional bodies and industry associations need to accelerate sustainability and climate action internally and with their members. CAFA’s Best Practice Framework and principles ensures alignment and recognition of your association’s commitment and progress.
CAFA also delivers a Certified Net Zero Association programme of support. This is where our CAFA net zero team handhold your association through a compliant, science aligned process of strategy and policy setting, measurement, calculation, reporting on your emissions, reduction planning and implementation, including access to your very own climate dashboard to track your progress and that of your supply chain. Organisations on CAFA Net Zero Association programme include Chartered IIA, CIPA, AEMT, IOIC, CMF, CITMA to name a few.
CAFA is also working with membership organisations to develop industry specific ESG, net zero and sustainability resources, templates including dedicated microsites to enable you to engage, guide and support your members.
As a not-for-profit and official accelerator for the UN backed Race to Zero campaign, our mission is to harness the reach and influence of the membership sector to speed up business and industry transition to meet the goals of the Paris Agreement.
Income generated by CAFA from membership and our net zero service is reinvested back into CAFA to deliver our mission.
